NEYOS System Architecture
A Complete and Interconnected Solution
The NEYOS ecosystem is built on three complementary elements:
OTRAC Tracker — Data Acquisition and Transmission
The OTRAC tracker is the first device in the NEYOS range. Portable, waterproof, and autonomous, it collects and transmits field data according to configurable parameters.
Dual-Network Cellular and Satellite Connectivity
NEYOS connectivity relies on a bimode model: a cellular channel (4G/2G) for standard transmissions, and an NTN satellite channel for service continuity. Switching between networks is automatic, directly managed and configurable by the embedded firmware.
Integration and Supervision — API, Webhooks, and Platform
Transmitted messages are received by the NEYOS server infrastructure, then decoded, validated, and routed to various possible environments:
- the NEYOS platform, for simple visualization without development,
- or existing interfaces through Webhooks and API for business use.
Each message retains a timestamp and a unique identifier. Formats are documented, versioned, and aligned with NEYOS internal protocol specifications.
Together, these elements form a complementary, modular, and scalable solution, capable of adapting to a wide variety of uses: sports activity tracking, lone worker safety, logistics fleet management, or remote asset monitoring.
How It Works: The Three Pillars of the System
The NEYOS system operates through three successive stages:
- Acquisition of field data.
- Optimized transmission via hybrid GSM and satellite networks.
- Data processing to ensure integrity and usability.

This approach guarantees service continuity in the most demanding environments while optimizing costs and performance.
Data Acquisition
The NEYOS tracker is designed to collect useful information: GPS position, orientation, speed, fall detection, bilateral SOS system, etc.
Resistant to all environments, lightweight and compact, its long battery life enables tracking of your activities over several days.

The OTRAC tracker acquires this data in real time, then formats and prepares it for transmission.

Data Transmission
The NEYOS tracker relies on hybrid connectivity combining two complementary networks:
- Cellular network: used as priority when signal is available, for fast, low-cost transfer.
- Satellite network: activated when GSM coverage is unavailable, ensuring service continuity in the most remote areas.
The tracker intelligently switches from one network to another, ensuring real-time tracking under all conditions.

Neyos Server
Secure processing & storage
Network management is fully configurable according to your needs (see Network Configuration section).
Data Processing
Data collected by the trackers is first centralized on the Neyos server, where it is processed and stored securely.
It then passes through webhooks and the API, which allow routing of flows and secure access management.
From there, two options are available:
- use the Neyos platform, the ideal interface for quick onboarding: dashboard, tracker configuration, and simplified billing, without any additional development
- or integrate data directly into your business application to leverage it for creating your own services
